Zemen Family History Project
Everyone has a story. Do you know yours?
My debut novel, I Hope You Find What You’re Looking For, was born well before I wrote my first word. My parents’ generation lived through extraordinary times — revolution, war, displacement — and started over far from home.
Like many of my peers, I was in awe of their dramatic experiences. Everything sounded like a movie, yet very little was being captured. As I grew older, I feared what would happen if their stories were lost forever. Since publishing my novel, I’ve met so many others who feel the same.
The Zemen Family History Project gives you the tools to do something about it. In the free guide linked below, you’ll find curated questions, tech guidance, and tips on how to interview your loved ones about their lives. Sign up to stay connected as this project grows.
Your family lived through history. Make sure their story lives on.
PS. This guide was inspired by Eritreans. But it’s for anyone who wants to capture their family’s history
